Bannerughatta Biological Park: Summer Camp 2026-27

Bannerughatta Biological Park (BBP) is hosting 2 batches of Summer Camp for the year 2026-27, with a duration of 6 days . The first batch is scheduled from 13th April to 18th April, 2026 and the second batch from 27th April to 2nd May, 2026 from Monday through Saturday.

The age group is limited to 10 to 18 years and activities scheduled from 10:00 am to 4:00pm on 5 days along with lunch, with an exception of the Friday session from 7:00 am to 4:00pm which includes both breakfast and lunch provided by BBP.

The main objective of the Summer Camp is for children to gain an interest and understanding of the biodiversity around them, explore conservation actions along with gain skills for awareness creation to become ambassadors for wildlife, through interactive activities.

Registrations are conducted online (https://forms.gle/QrXy2JNAUWVzQsXQ9) on a first come, first serve basis with maximum 50 students per batch. The registration fee of ₹2000/- for private school students and ₹1000/- for government school students, includes education material, ID Card, Cap, Bag, Lunch and Completion Certificate. Registrations will close on 5th April 2026 or as soon as the slots are booked.

RULES & REGULATIONS

1) All Summer Camp members must wear Cap, ID card with forest friendly colour clothes and shoes at all times.
2) Throughout the Summer Camp duration, members must always be with authorized staff/volunteer/group.
3) Summer Camp members must not enter any animal enclosures or restricted areas.
4) Any member who does not attend sessions for two consecutive days of the Summer Camp, will not receive their completion certificate.
5) Members who are unable to attend a session, will need to inform the Education Officer at least a day before the planned session.
6) Summer Camp members will not be allowed to leave the premises of Bannerughatta Biological Park (BBP) on their own. They must be accompanied by their parent(s)/ guardian unless prior written permission is given to the Education Officer.
7) During the sessions, Summer Camp members must not attempt to feed, touch, tease any animals at BBP.
8) Possession or usage of tobacco, alcohol or any other illegal substances will result in strict action against the Summer Camp member and elimination from the programme.
9) BBP has the right to eliminate any Summer Camp member if they do not abide by the rules and regulation of BBP.
